Kivirol RF (Resin SF-281)
Alkyl-aromatic novolac analogue of resorcinol.
  • Can be used in the same rubber compounds as resorcinol.
  • Advantages over resorcinol: disperses more uniformly, is non-fuming, and does not bloom to the rubber surface, therefore does not reduce tack.
  • In combination with a methylene donor during vulcanization it ensures strong rubber-to-textile or steel-cord adhesion.
Kivirol RH (Kivirol-NSH)
Alkyl-aromatic oligomeric analogue of resorcinol.
  • Application scope identical to resorcinol.
  • Offers the same processing benefits as Kivirol RF (better dispersion, non-fuming, non-blooming, no tack loss).
  • Together with a methylene donor during vulcanization provides reliable rubber adhesion to textile or steel cord.
Kivirol RS (Chemoxol-O)
Alkyl-aromatic, sulphur-containing analogue of resorcinol.
  • Same formulation compatibility as resorcinol.
  • Disperses well, non-fuming, non-blooming, retains tack.
  • With a methylene donor gives excellent rubber-to-cord adhesion.
  • Rubber containing Kivirol RS exhibits enhanced mechanical properties under severe testing conditions.
Kivirol®-RFH (Modifier ARU-D-30)
Mixture of the alkyl-aromatic novolac analogue of resorcinol with hexamethylenetetramine (HMTA).
  • Designed to create an adhesive bond between rubber and textile cord.
  • Drop-in replacement for resorcinol, pinacol-type resins and their analogues.
  • Outperforms conventional systems under severe testing conditions.
Kivirol®-RHH (Kivirol-TK)
Mixture of the alkyl-aromatic oligomeric analogue of resorcinol with HMTA.
  • Provides adhesion of rubber to textile or steel cord.
  • Compatible with formulations containing resorcinol, pinacol resins, etc.
  • Delivers superior performance in stringent tests.
